Saccharomyces cerevisiae is a yeast that can promote the digestion and performance of horses and improve their well-being. The yeast strain has a positive effect on the intestinal flora of horses because it improves fiber digestion in the intestine and can thus support the microorganisms in the intestine.
Yeast Cell Walls Biomic Horse contains a special combination of mannan oligosaccharides (MOS) and beta-glucans from the cell walls of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. These are extracted under controlled conditions. MOS and beta-glucans serve as a source of nutrition for the microflora and support the maintenance of a healthy intestinal flora.
PHGG (= Partially Hydrolyzed Guar Gum) is a partially fermented, natural dietary fiber obtained from the Indian guar bean. It is used as a water-soluble prebiotic to support and strengthen the intestinal flora. PHGG can promote the growth of probiotic intestinal bacteria because it provides a breeding ground for them. In contrast, pathogenic germs are not supported.
Leonardite (Contains Humic Acid) The humic acid used is so fine that it forms a protective film over the entire mucous membrane. The humic acid protects the intestinal mucous membrane from irritation and the penetration of pathogenic germs. It also supports the reconstruction of the mucous membrane.
Pleurotus ostreatus Ground The medicinal mushroom Pleurotus ostreatus can help with microbial colonization. It has antimicrobial, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory properties. The so-called shell-broken process used to produce medicinal mushrooms improves the absorption of the nutrients they contain. The mushrooms are finely ground to break down the cell walls and prepare the ingredients for improved absorption.
Psyllium Husks (Plantago ovata) The shell of the Indian psyllium seed has a strong natural swelling effect. The seed can absorb up to 40 times its own weight in water. Once in contact with water, it forms a protective layer of mucus. This forms a film on the mucous membrane of the stomach and esophagus. In the intestine, psyllium seed husks can bind the excess fluid. This thickens the stool and regulates the stool discharge in a natural way.
Microcrystalline Cellulose is obtained from plant fibers and is not absorbed or digested by the body. Dietary fiber such as microcrystalline cellulose regulates digestion and promotes healthy intestinal flora. Useful intestinal bacteria can multiply and form important short-chain fatty acids.
Apple Pectin is a soluble fiber that can be easily digested by the probiotic intestinal bacteria. The reason for this is that it is easily fermented in the large intestine. It provides the intestinal bacteria with energy and, as a prebiotic, supports the intestinal flora. Pectin can also absorb water. The resulting gel-like substance can bind toxins. The gel-like substance that is formed can also act as a protective layer to protect the intestinal mucosa from irritation.
