Supporting inflammatory metabolism, with Boswellia serrata extract with high bioavailability, turmeric extract and omega-3 fatty acids.

Cortisan contains frankincense and turmeric in solubilized form, improving their bioavailability and maximizing their anti-inflammatory properties. In addition, algae oil provides high doses of omega-3 fatty acids.

Ingredients (excerpt)

  • Indian frankincense extract (Boswellia serrata)

The beneficial effect of frankincense resin is primary attributed to it containing boswellic and tripertenic acids. The Indian frnakincense is used both for the care of irritated skin and for strengthening the joints as it helps maintain the cartilage at a stable level.

  • Turmeric extract (Curcuma longa)

Turmeric has antioxidant properties and can be beneficial in reducing inflammation. The solubilization of the active ingredient significantly increases its bioavailability.

  • Micro-algae oil (derived from Schizochytrium sp.)

Schizochytrium sp. is a micro-marine algae that contains a naturally high proportion of the essential Omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA.

  • Rapeseed oil

Canola oil is rich in linoleic acid, an important component of ceramides, which support the lipid layer and thus the skin barrier. A deficiency of linoleic acid can lead to inflammatory conditions of the skin. Canola oil also contains Omega-3 fatty acids, which help create a skin barrier and have anti-inflammatory properties. It can relieve itching and help restore damaged skin.
