For many animals situations such as: visits to the veterinarian, fireworks on New Year's Eve, moving, traveling, a new baby in the family, separation from the owners or similar disruptions, can be incredibly stressful. This can lead to nervousness, loss of appetite, insomnia, anxiety and other behavioral problems. Some animals are inherently restless or hyperactive. Calmin has a soothing effect on your four-legged friend and improves its well-being during periods of increased stress. Thanks to a special production process the ingredients (CBD and L-tryptophan) are exceptional well metabolized.
Calmin contains a 5% concentration of a commercial hemp-distillate. The commercial hemp-distillate is an extract of cannabinoids that occur naturally in commercial hemp. In contrast to THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the commercial hemp-distillate has no psychoactive effect. To ensure that Calmin does not contain THC, we use a special purified hemp distillate, which is extracted from commercial hemp by means of alcoholic distillation. To guarantee consistency for both the formulation and quality of Calmin, the raw material is procured from Austria and the surrounding EU countries.
L-Tryptophan is an aminoacid. It is described as mood-enhancing and soothing. L-Tryptophan, a precursor to serotonin (neurotransmitter), is often used to regulate appetite and sleep.
