Inuzid Spray

Herbal protection against grass mites, red foul mites, ticks, mosquitoes and fleas.

Inuzid reliably keeps annoying parasites away from your pet. Instead of the synthetic version of the ingredient pyrethrin, Inuzid is made from a natural extract from feverfew. The extract does not enter the bloodstream and is therefore also suitable for puppies and kittens that are 12 weeks old. The practical spray bottle makes it easy to apply; it can be sprayed directly onto the coat or used as a surface spray for baskets, cars and stables.

Protection from harvest mites

Most pets and their owners suffer from the negative impact of harvest mites between July and November. The infestation occurs primarily between the toes, on the neck and in and around the ears. Inucide is outstanding in repelling these troublesome pests. Simply spray Inucide on the infested area. It is best to spray dogs before each walk and cats should be treated daily.

How do I know if my pet has harvest mites?

Harvest mites prefer areas where the skin is thin.

Dogs generally are infested between their toes, around their eyes and mouth, their nasal snout, and their ears. Infestation results in insistent itching with erythema (reddening) and eventually formation of pustules and blisters. If your dog begins to lick, scratch or gnaw on itself after a walk, in particular on it’s paws or belly, chances are it has pick up some harvest mites. In some cases the mites may even infest the back of your dog, especially if your pet has a tendency to roll or wallow in meadows.

Cats tend to be infested in the temple and ear regions. The ankles are also a common area to be infested. The harvest mites have plenty of time to crawl onto the cats when they take on a lurking position in high grass. Symptoms of harvest mite infestation are small, itchy, crusty areas. If you look closely at the infected area you often can see small orange specks. These orange specks are the harvest mites.

Don’t give ticks a chance

It is important to protect your pet from ticks. Ticks are generally active between March and October, but can also be active in the winter if temperatures exceed 10 C°. Ticks are parasites that feed on blood and are notorious for transmitting diseases. The following tick species are present in Germany:

  • Forest tick (Dermacentor reticulatus)
  • Wood tick (Ixodes ricinus)
  • Brown dog tick (Rhipicephalus sanguineus)
  • Hedgehog tick (Ixodes hexagonus)
  • Fox tick (Ixodes canisuga)

The Forest tick is known to transmit Babesiose, better know as Dog malaria. The Wood tick is not only dangerous for pets, but also transmits early-spring meningoenzephalitis and Lyme disease.

Effective protection for your dog from ticks with Inucide Spray is essential.

Inucide Spray offers the optimal protection against ticks, mites and fleas for your dog, cat and even small rodent pets. Inucide Spray, when used correctly, has a prophylactic and strong repellent effect.

Ingredients (excerpt)

  • Feverfew extract (Pyrethrum)

The purified pyrethrum in Inuzid is extracted from feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium). Pyrethrins are neuromuscular toxins that act as contact insecticides. They pass through the cuticle into the nervous system of invertebrates, triggering paralysis and coordination disorders within a few minutes (knock-down effect). This opens the invertebrates' sodium channels, resulting in spasms and eventually causing the death of these harmful organisms.

  • Sesame oil (Sesamum indicum oleum)

The sesame oil in Inuzid supports the knock-down effect (parasites become unable to move within minutes) and hinders insects from breathing.

  • Tannin

Tannin is the natural preservative in Inucide and has additional antiviral and antibacterial properties.
