Calmin balance supports dogs and cats in stressful or unfamiliar situations. These may include introducing new animal companions, separation, moving to a new home, the arrival of a baby, traveling, or visits to the veterinarian. Calmin balance can also provide support for behaviors that may occur during tense phases, such as excessive grooming in cats.
Calmin balance can be given directly or mixed with the pet’s food. Should be fed after a meal rich in carbohydrates.
Milk protein hydrolysate Alpha-casozepine, a peptide derived from casein, is a natural component of mammalian milk. It has traditionally been associated with calming properties and may nutritionally contribute to inner balance, particularly in everyday situations involving stress.
L-tryptophan L-tryptophan is an amino acid and a precursor to the happiness hormone serotonin.
Dextrose Dextrose and L-tryptophan complement each other perfectly during times of increased stress. Dextrose plays a supportive role in the utilization of L-tryptophan. Together, they can naturally support emotional balance.
Hops tincture (Humulus lupulus) Hops tincture has traditionally been associated with relaxation-promoting properties and contributes to inner balance during stressful situations.
Passion flower extract(Passiflora incarnata) Like hops tincture, passion flower extract has traditionally been associated with relaxation-promoting properties and is valued in stressful situations.
B vitamins B vitamins, especially folic acid and vitamin B6, contribute to the normal function of the nervous system in animals.
