Many horses are plagued by stomach problems throughout their lives, and often these problems go unnoticed. The most common reason for horse stomach problems is stress. There are many known causes for this: aggravation with a stall neighbor, pervasive mobbing in the group, relocation, excessive training, transport stress, foals being weaned from their mothers, illness, or mourning the loss of a deceased friend. In times of increased stress, a horse's stomach and digestion react quickly and sensitively.
VomiSan supports the health of the gastrointestinal tract even during turbulent times. The natural ingredients coat the gastric mucosa, soothe the irritated stomach and consequently increase the protection against substances that attack the sensitive stomach wall.

Psyllium (Plantago ovata) Indian psyllium husk has a strong natural swelling effect: The seed can absorb up to 40 times its own weight in water. Once in contact with water, it forms a protective layer of mucus. This coats the lining of the stomach and esophagus like a film. In the intestine, psyllium husks bind excessive fluid. The feces is thus bound and stays in the intestine for a longer period of time. This ensures that the feces is consolidated and the output of the feces is naturally regulated.
Dill tincture (Anethum graveolens fructus) The most important property of the dill fruit is its calming effect on the smooth musculature of the gastrointestinal tract.
Hericium (Hericium erinaceus) The chinese mushroom hericium calms the stomach lining and assists regeneration. The production of nerve growth factors is stimulated, thus supporting the vegetative nervous system of the digestive system.
Chamomile extract (Matricaria chamomilla flores) Chamomile soothes and relaxes the muscles in the gastrointestinal tract.
Marshmallow tincture (Althaea officinalis radix) The authentic marshmallow root helps to maintain the natural protective film of the mucous membrane of both the throat and the stomach.

Keep out of reach of animals. Not recommended or suitable for pregnant mares and foals under 6 months. Contains yeast products. Ideal for horses that are allergic to dust. Made in Germany.
Do not store over 30°C. Use within 6 months after opening.
There is, under the terms of the World Anti-Doping Code and drug control regulations of the German National Equestrian Federation, a recommended waiting period of 48 hours for this product (from last usage until the tournament's start). In accordance with the FEI (Fédération Équestre Internationale) this product has no relevance in terms of doping regulations.
