Manuka Lind Patches
Care product for animals
Hydroactive, nourishing skin pads for animals to support skin regeneration. With Manuka honey and comfrey extract.
Manuka honey is obtained in New Zealand by honey bees from the South Sea myrtle (Manuka bush) and can promote skin regeneration due to its special ingredients. ManukaLind Patches are with ManukaLind ointment soaked and keep the affected area permanently moist. This protects against drying out and penetrating germs. Fine pores ensure high breathability.
Since the dressing can be changed without sticking, there is less retraumatization of the skin regeneration. The patches also serve as protection against licking the affected skin area.
Manuka honey (MGO 514+) Manuka honey is harvested from the South Sea myrtle tree by honey bees in New Zealand and has been used there for many generations. What makes the honey so special is the methylglyoxal, which is contained in Manuka honey in a concentration that is a hundred times higher than in conventional flower honeys. The MGO value describes the ingredient in milligrams per kilogram and serves as a measure of the quality of the honey.
Comfrey extract (Symphytum officinalis) Comfrey particularly supports skin regeneration. The allantoins contained in the root and herb of comfrey have a positive effect on skin cell growth. Comfrey extracts also stimulate blood circulation in irritated areas of skin and can help to soothe them.
Essential oils (Lavender, thyme) Essential oils are not very tasty and reduce licking. The oils also keep flies and mosquitoes away.
Polyethylene patch coated with ManukaLind ointment, consisting of macrogol, manuka honey (MGO 514+/UMF 15+), comfrey extract (Symphytum officinalis), essential oils (lavender oil, thyme oil)
