Kolax for horses

Natural Support and Relief for the Stomach and Intestines for Colic-Prone Horses

The gastro-intestinal tract of horses is vulnerable and reacts sensitively under stress, stabling, and/or dietary issues due to concentrated fodder. Horses with sensitive digestive tracts are prone to colic, cramps, flatulence, fecal water and other digestive disorders.

To maintain and improve digestive health, Kolax can be used as a permanent supplement. A complex of essential oils ensure a healthy, natural digestion.

Kolax is also designed for tense, anxious and sensitive horses. It relaxes the intestinal tract and eases digestion and defecation.

Naturally Healthy Digestion

With its complex of aetheric oils, Kolax helps regulate digestion and eases the passage of the digested food pulp to the bowel. Designed for daily use, it is a digestive conveyor that can also be given to nervous horses prior to riding.

  • Cold pressed linseed oil (Linum usitatissimum oleum)

Linseed oil is the carrier substance of Kolax and softens the stool. Excitable horses can thus excrete their stool a lot easier.

  • Essential oils (Fennel, Anis, Caraway, Chamomile, Cinnamon, Balm mint, Angelica root)

Essential oils generally have an unpleasant taste which discourages the pet from licking the ointment and thus the infected area. The essential oils also work as a repellant against flies and others pests. The oil is safe for cats.

  • Angelica root (Angelica archangelica radix)

Angelica root alleviates bloating and flatulence, facilitating the bodys gastrointestinal functions.

  • Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum oleum)

Cinnamon oil accelerates the intestinal passage by promoting the so-called Schiff's bond and thus directly the movement of the gastrointestinal tract. Cinnamon oil can relieve digestive problems such as bloating and flatulence.

  • Melissa (Melissa officinalis oleum)

Melissa can reduce the congestion of air in the gut through its antispasmodic and carminative effects.
