Hypolene for horses
Complementary feed for horses.
- Supports the musculoskeletal system.
- For joints under heavy strain.
- Suitable for long-term use or as a therapeutic treatment.
Basically, any joint can be affected by signs of wear and tear. In healthy joints, the surface of the bone is covered by a layer of cartilage. This cartilage protects the bone and allows the joints to move smoothly. The cartilage layer is nourished by the so-called synovial fluid. If the joints are subjected to too much strain or move too little, the cartilage is not supplied with enough nutrients.

Green-lipped Mussel (Gonex quality) The green-lipped mussel provides all the essential building blocks for joint and connective tissue metabolism (synovia, ligaments, tendons and cartilage). Inflammatory mediators can be positively influenced and blood circulation is improved. This ensures that the affected tissue, the synovia, the cartilage and the underlying bone are supplied with the best possible nutrients.
Willow Bark (Salix alba cortex) Willow bark contains the plant-based salicin. It is converted into salicylic acid by the horse's body. Salicylic acid reduces pain and can support the mobility of horses that are prone to joint problems.
Nettle (Urtica dioica folium) The nettle has been valued for its health-promoting properties since time immemorial. The plant has a very high nutritional value and contains high amounts of vitamin C, vitamin E, provitamin A, folic acid, enzymes, minerals and iron. Its many positive properties make it an all-rounder. In horses, it is used in particular to maintain the health of the musculoskeletal system and metabolism.
Devil's Claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) Devil's claw reliably supports the musculoskeletal system, especially in horses that are prone to progressive wear of the joint cartilage or other joint problems. Devil's claw reduces protein-degrading enzymes and thus ensures the natural preservation of the joint cartilage.
