Hepax forte for horses
Dietary supplements for horses
- Supports liver function in chronic liver insufficiency.
- Long reach thanks to high dosage.
- Only once a day.
General health is closely linked to a healthy metabolism and therefore also to good liver function. The horse's liver is simultaneously a metabolic and storage organ, a central organ for detoxification processes and a production site for essential body components such as muscle protein. Hepax forte is a combination of proven ingredients for a healthy liver.

Milk Thistle Extract (Silybum marianum fructus) The fruit of the milk thistle has positive, supportive properties for the function of the liver. Free radicals in the liver can be intercepted by feeding milk thistle. The silymarin obtained from the fruit of the milk thistle can have a positive effect on the biosynthesis capacity of the hepatocytes.
Artichoke Extract (Cynara scolymus folium) Based on new studies, artichoke leaves are said to have choleretic, cholekinetic, cholesterol- and lipid-lowering as well as hepatostimulating properties.
Reishi Ground (Ganoderma lucidum) The "mushroom of immortality" has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for more than 4,000 years and has become one of the world's most important medicinal mushrooms. It can support the liver by inhibiting lipid accumulation and collagen deposition. In addition, the triterpenes in reishi have been shown to inhibit the angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) in humans, which produces angiotensin, which increases blood pressure. It also supports the oxygen enrichment of the blood - the organs can be better supplied with oxygen.
Lecithin Lecithin is converted into choline in the liver. This choline is responsible for removing excess fat from the liver - if it is missing, this can promote fatty liver. Choline can also be converted into betaine, the starting material for S-adenosylmethionine, which is important for detoxification.
Betaine Betaine is one of the starting materials for the formation of methionine in the liver. The amino acid methionine is converted into S-adenosylmethionine through a biochemical reaction, which plays a crucial role in metabolic detoxification processes. Betaine can also help maintain a healthy liver.
Vitamin E As a so-called antioxidant, vitamin E has the task of binding free radicals in the liver. These are a very active form of oxygen that can damage tissue and reduce metabolic functions. Vitamin E can help to significantly reduce their number and thus protect the tissue and its functions.
B Vitamins B vitamins are stored in the liver and are involved as cofactors in detoxification processes and syntheses. Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) is particularly noteworthy: it is a cofactor in the methionine synthesis reaction and plays a key role in the formation of S-adenosylmethionine.
Zinc The liver is the main organ of zinc metabolism. Zinc can improve the organ's ability to regenerate and support its function.
Magnesium Magnesium is needed for the synthesis of S-adenosylmethionine, which plays an important role in liver detoxification processes.
