EnteroGast acute sachets
Dietetic complementary feed for cats and dogs.
For the relief of acute intestinal absorption disorders. During and after acute diarrhea.
- 3-phase effect: astringent, absorbent, restorative.
- Lasting effect thanks to its high dosage.
- Perfect for the first-aid kit.
Even in small doses, EnteroGast acute powder helps to firm up the stool and supports the function of the intestine in three phases: The astringent properties of ratanhia and oak extract slow down the penetration of liquid into the intestine. Existing excess liquids are absorbed by the psyllium husks. The intestinal flora is reconstructed by probiotic Enterococcus faecium cultures. In powder form, EnteroGast acute powder can be easily mixed into the food and administered: ideal for dogs and cats that refuse tablets. EnteroGast acute powder contains no added flavorings and is suitable for allergy sufferers.

Enterococcus faecium (probiotic bacterial cultures) Enterococcus faecium cultures help to build up the intestinal flora in a natural way. They settle in the intestine and support the regulation of intestinal peristalsis. The cultures also help to ensure that there are fewer pathogenic intestinal bacteria in the intestine. They compete with them for receptors on the intestinal epithelium and change the luminal pH value in such a way that the binding ability of pathogenic intestinal bacteria is influenced. In the case of a weakened intestine in particular, this can displace the harmful microorganisms in favor of the natural intestinal flora.
Pedunculate oak extract (Quercus robur cortex) The bark of the English oak is rich in various tannins, which lead to a superficial compaction (astringent effect) of the intestinal mucosa. Less water is released into the intestine and the intestinal contents return to a more normal, firmer form.
Ratanhia root ground (Krameria lappacea radix) Similar to the pedunculate oak bark, the ratanhia root also contains an extremely high proportion of tannins (especially catechin tannins and proanthocyanidins).
Psyllium husks (Plantago ovata) The shell of the Indian psyllium seed has a strong natural swelling effect. The seed can absorb up to 40 times its own weight in water. Once in contact with water, it forms a protective layer of mucus. This forms a film on the mucous membrane of the stomach and esophagus. In the intestine, psyllium seed husks can bind the excess fluid. This thickens the stool and regulates the stool discharge in a natural way.
